Turning their fantastic twice-brewed, 3-years aged saishikomi soy sauce into a powder, without the addition of extra salt, Kamebishi have created a product that can impart the rich, deep, yet mellow flavor of saishikomi soy sauce without adding extra liquid to your dish.

If you sprinkle it on top of cooked food, the deep flavor of soy sauce will be imparted, and it will give an enormous boost of umami to your dish.     Not salty, just savory

    This 3 year soy sauce has been converted into salt-like flakes by applying maltodextrin. This result is all the flavor of a barrel-aged soy sauce and the texture of salt. I find it to melt faster than salt, so that should be taken into account when adding to hot or wet dishes. I love the ability to flavor-up dishes without over relying on salt! Just had some on popcorn with garlic powder and olive oil, it was delicious!
