To preface, this is the best facial cream I've ever used (even compared to various luxury brands - La Mer, Tatcha, Sulwhasoo, SKII, Shiseido, Clé de Peau, etc.). In the end, I always go back to Hakutsuru's gel cream. It is high quality, reliable, and cost effective.
While this newer version of the Hakutsuru Moisturizing Sake All-in-One Skincare Gel Cream is decent, the original version (Hakutsuru Daiginjo Sake Skincare Cream) was even better, because it was gentler, even more brightening, and far less irritating to the skin.
Although I'm sure this newer version is effective, it does leave a mild tingling sensation and slight redness to skin upon application, probably due to increased intensity - Sometimes, even adding puffiness to the face. The original version never had any irritating effects - It worked flawlessly.
If we could source or bring back the prior version (as shown in the image attached), I would over-the-moon ecstatic!
