Le Kit Kat au thé vert foncé ou également appelé Dark Matcha Kit Kat est une collation japonaise très populaire vendue uniquement au Japon.
Il s’agit de l’une des deux versions différentes du Kit Kats au thé vert matcha. Dark Matcha Kit Kat est la version amère et le sac a une nuance de vert plus foncée. D’autre part, le Kit Kat de Thé Vert standard est formulé avec un matcha plus léger et plus sucré. Il est également emballé dans un sac d’une nuance de vert plus claire.
Dans les deux cas, le biscuit Kit Kat ordinaire est recouvert d'une couche de chocolat blanc fin mélangé à de la vraie poudre de matcha de la ville d'Uji, dans la préfecture de Kyoto. Dans cette version, le matcha koi est utilisé, ce qui donne le goût de thé vert le plus fort et le plus riche.

Arrived in perfect condition, fresh stock just made from the factory (as still has 11 months self life, unlike my local Asian grocery usually stock less than 6 months self life).
I can taste the freshness in the biscuits, crunchy and the matcha chocolate is not too sweet or bitter, just well balanced.
Perfect for afternoon tea or after meal treat. My go to matcha chocolate biscuits. The best Kit Kat flavour in my opinion (I am a tea lover).
